TIPS...
Come in with an open mind and some idea of what you are looking for. This is your wedding and the designer needs to hear what you like and don't like. Don't sit back and say, "I want to hear your ideas". The designers job is to give you what you want not what they want. Choose a designer that reflects your style.

Do some research — Decided if you like Edgy Modern, Classic, Garden, and Traditional.

The best flowers to use will be in season flowers. Not only will the cost be less but also the quality of flowers will be flawless.

When meeting with your floral designer try to give them some freedom with flower selection. Of course the color selection should remain the same but if you want Pink Peonies and they look awful give the designer a second choice like large garden rose or big pink hydrangea.

Try not to get so specific about shades of colors. For example "I love the blue hydrangea with a little bit of green on it". It is so impossible to order flowers to that kind of specification.

Trends- don't feel like you don't want to do something because everybody else seems to be doing it. This is your wedding and you have to do what makes you happy. Because at the end of the day when you look at your wedding pictures, you will only see your pictures not everyone else's.
